Get your day off to a great start with this healthy smoothie, packed with vitamins, antioxidant micronutrients and fibre from the fruit and protein and healthy fats from the seed mixture and walnuts.  

For a dairy free option substitute the yogurt and milk with a nut milk but check the ingredients list carefully. Some brands contain a high percentage of sugar and vegetable oil and a negligible amount of nuts.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries. Peel the banana and roughly chop.
  2. Blitz the strawberries, banana and yogurt to a smooth consistency.
  3. Add the walnuts and the milk and blitz again.
